Wanelle is a visual storyteller whose camera captures the poetry of movement, light, and soul. With over 30 years of experience, her work bridges commercial and fine art photography — from high-energy sports and fashion to intimate portraits. Her signature style, influenced by her journeys from New York to Sydney, Los Angeles, Montana, and Santa Fe, combines technical precision with a meditative, unconventional approach. Horses — wild, rescue, rodeo, and racehorses — are a central theme in her art, often rendered through a rich mix of photography, acrylic, oil, and metal leaf. Wanelle holds an MFA and BFA in Photography from ArtCenter College of Design where she also taught for 18 years, and a degree in Liberal Arts from USC. She has also wrote and directed TV commercials and taught photography for over 30 years at numerous institutions in the US and Saudi Arabia.
